4L Section

Step 2

How to measure the belt length.

Measure the belt length

If the belt is broken:

  1. Simply measure the belt from one end to the other. (in inches is best)

  2. Now add a "0" (Zero) to the end of the size you measured.
    Example 1: 21 inches = 210
    Example 2:
    33 inches = 330

  3. Take that size and add it after the section type 4L to get the belt part number.

Example 1: 4L section belt that measured 18 inches long will have a part number of:  RG4L180

    Example 2:
4L section belt that measured 21 inches long will have a part number of:  RG4L210

If the belt is "NOT" broken:

  1. To get the correct length you need to measure the belt around the outside circumference of the belt. This is done by using one of the methods below:

Method 1: Measure the belt by wrapping a "cloth" tape measure around the outside diameter of the belt. Its best to measure in inches

Method 2: Wrap a piece of string around the outside diameter of the belt. Cut the string at the point it overlaps and then simply measure the length of the string. Its best to measure in inches
